Another great show, fellows! Maybe you need to have Peter on as commentator on every show? Interesting to have him mention the physicist Banesh Hoffman, whose bio of Einstein (Albert Einstein: Creator and Rebel with Einstein's secretary Helen Dukas) I read years ago (very good and accessible, BTW) and is best known perhaps to Sherlockians for his short story "Sherlock, Shakespeare, and the Bomb" 1966(?). //Out here in Seattle, the Uttermost West in the language of Tolkien, where reality is thin, the Sound of the Baskervilles has a few traditions. One of these is the Annual Wreath Throw at one of the local falls (the sites have included Snoqualmie Falls in the past and now is done at Tumwater on the Deschutes River near Olympia WA) commemorating Holmes’ loss at Reichenbach Falls. We assemble and hike down to the falls and President-for-Life David Haugen hurls the funereal wreath (it's organic!)over the falls to great chears. We follow with a meal at the excellent Falls Terrace restaurant that overlooks the park, often with a further excursion to a member's home for dessert.

Les Klinger is a brave, brave man. Having way too much experience in the world of fanfiction, I can only imagine-- oh hell, I know exactly what he's gotten himself into.

Well, a few more days and I'll be able to avail myself of my college's subscription to the BSJ to confirm my suspicions.

Lovely episode, as usual!
